Terms of Service

Last updated: August 6, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Waterline Voice’s service. By checking the agreement box and completing payment at checkout, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not sign up.

In these Terms, “Waterline Voice” (also “we” or “us”) refers to the provider of the service, and “you” means the business signing up for the service.

The Service

Waterline Voice provides an AI-powered missed-call rescue and follow-up system for plumbing businesses, including:

  • AI receptionist coverage for calls that would otherwise go to voicemail.
  • Business-specific answers using your handbook — services, hours, pricing, and FAQs.
  • One local-presence number for AI inbound calls, outbound softphone calls, confirmation SMS, replies, and review requests.
  • A prompt confirmation SMS after an AI-handled call, plus a transcript and lead summary.
  • Google review requests after completed jobs, with negative responses routed privately.
  • Regular results reports covering caught calls, transcripts, and reviews generated.

Caught Calls

A caught call means an inbound call to your Waterline Voice number that you did not answer and that the AI receptionist handled for 20 seconds or longer. Spam calls and early hang-ups do not count as caught calls and are not billed.

Your Plan and Billing

Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle at the then-current fee for your plan until you cancel. Your plan’s fee, included caught calls, billing frequency, and per-call overage rate are shown at checkout and in your account. There is no setup fee.

Your service begins when your inbound calls are live and routed to your Waterline Voice number.

Caught calls beyond your plan’s included amount are billed at your plan’s overage rate at the end of each cycle to the card on file. SMS volume above 2,000 segments per month is billed at carrier pass-through cost. AI calls exceeding 10 minutes are auto-handed off and stop counting toward billable handle time.

You authorize us to charge the card on file for your plan fee at signup, your recurring plan fee each cycle, and any overage or pass-through charges. You will receive a receipt for each charge.

Free Trial

If your plan includes a free trial, we collect a payment method at signup and charge nothing during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial at the fee shown at checkout, and renews each cycle thereafter under these Terms. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends at no charge. If no calls were caught during your trial, contact us before it ends and we will extend the trial or cancel it — you will not be charged for a trial period with no caught calls.

Live Trial ($29)

The one-time $29 Live Trial provides 14 days of service. It is a single payment — it does not renew, and no further amount is charged unless you separately subscribe to a plan.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If the service does not produce at least one documented caught job in your first 30 days, we will refund your first cycle fee.

A documented caught job means a caught call that produced a homeowner conversation identifying a plumbing need and that was booked, quoted, transferred, or delivered to your office with usable contact and job details.

The guarantee requires that your main line remains routed through the service for the full 30 days and that you return callbacks to delivered opportunities in a reasonable timeframe. Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the end of the 30-day window. Overage charges from your first cycle, if any, are not refundable.

For subscriptions that begin with a free trial, the 30-day guarantee window runs from service activation, and the refundable amount is your first cycle fee.

Changing Plans

You may change your plan in your account. Higher-volume plans are available, and we may offer you a larger plan if your usage warrants. When you change plans, your fee adjusts to the plan you select, and the rest of these Terms continue to apply unchanged.

Cancellation

You may cancel any time before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle. Usage and overage accrued during that cycle remain billable. Carrier registration and number provisioning fees, if any, are non-refundable.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for routing your main line or missed calls to your Waterline Voice number, returning callbacks from your Waterline Voice number, dispatching work, setting your pricing, and logging completed jobs so review requests trigger. The service cannot catch calls that are not routed to it. We do not guarantee booked revenue or job values.

Billing Disputes

If you believe a call was charged in error, you may request a credit using the dispute button in your receipts and dashboard. Credits are issued at our sole discretion. Spam calls and early hang-ups are not billed.

Notifications and Performance

Reminders, reports, usage updates, and similar notifications are courtesies we provide on a commercially reasonable basis. Except where required by law, our failure to send any notification does not breach these Terms and does not affect your payment obligations or any charge. Service features, response times, and delivery timeframes described here are targets provided on a commercially reasonable basis, not guarantees of specific performance.

Service Provided “As Is”

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Except for the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee above, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will catch any particular call or produce any particular result.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waterline Voice’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the billing cycle in which the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

Marketing Release

You grant Waterline Voice a perpetual, royalty-free right to use your business name, logo, testimonials, results, and anonymized call transcripts and SMS examples, with homeowner personal information redacted, for marketing.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
